TAKE PART IN THE PROJECT
The Meander project walks will concentrate on upper Wharfdale throughout the first quarter of 2011. We hope to focus on Bishopdale, Coverdale, Wensleydale & Swaledale in the second quarter, Cotterdale, Garsdale and Dentdale in the third and Ribblesdale in the fourth quarter.

The proposed Meander walks for summer 2011 are set out below. All walks take place between two "Welcome Points"- places that have volunteered to look after the cameras and backpack between walks. Each walk starts from the Welcome Point where the last booked group finished their walk and handed in the backpack with the cameras. We have tried to keep each walk to about 2½ hours—the life of the rechargeable batteries - but some walks may take longer.
There is no fixed route for any walk; groups can take any safe and legal route they please between the start and end points. You don't even have to walk: we'll happily consider any other non-powered form of transportation you wish to propose, whether mountain bikes, horseback or anything else you can come up with - but please remember to consider all travel in a way that has minimal environmental impact.
When you and your potential walking companion or companions have decided on the walk you'd like to take, email us at info@adeptprojects.co.uk with your details; who you are, who you will be walking with, the route you'd like to book, the date you wish to undertake the walk.
If you are happy to take pot luck, tell us all the routes and dates you would be able to walk in a given period and we will choose one for you.
Finally, leave us your email address and a contact phone number. We will only use them to contact you about the project. If you have to change your booking details for any reason, email us as soon as possible.
If you would like to be informed when the Meander route will be passing through a particular part of the Dales, email us and we'll keep you informed.
